I Worked for a Software Company and Was Fired for Being “Slow”

I spent solving complex technical problems on challenging projects with extensive technical debt. At my last job, I was developing software that was supposed to help users work with interactive maps imported from files of a company — Autodesk. I was restoring the code that was lost due to the departure of most of the developers from the company in terms of importing data and visualizing map data in the KSODD system on the backend and front end. I drew 2D and 3D maps in GeoJSON format using the MapboxGL libraries and the Postgres database with the PostGIS plugin installed on the React and ASP.NET Core C# frameworks.

Reasons for dismissal

I was fired, even though the users were delighted with the work I had done because the company mainly employs a toxic, unprofessional team that allows itself to use foul language without reason, swear in the work chat, publish personal information (salary level at the time of employment, resume, phone number, data on place of residence) — it is worth saying that most employees work remotely.
